The sunny Rosengarten-Latemar holiday region is located at the southwestern entrance to the Dolomite mountains and covers more than 250 km², stretching from Tiers valley and Gummer Mountain to Karersee and Eggental. Reiterjoch mountain flanks the Eggental mountains, whose most attractive peaks are the Zanggen, Schwarzhorn, and Weisshorn summits.
