Wine Exhibition “Bozner Weinkost”
18th to 20th of May 2012
Bolzano/Bozen - The event took place for the first time in 1896 as a “wine market” to provide producers and prospective buyers with the opportunity to meet, taste, compare wines and make deals, while today it has evolved into the “Bozner Weinkost”. The venue is the sumptuous medieval Maretsch Castle nestling among vineyards just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Bolzano. Some 60 South Tyrolean wine producers will present their latest harvest releases, along with more mature and “Riserva” wines from earlier vintages. - www.weinkost.it

Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm - The Oswald von Wolkenstein equestrian event, a picturesque pageant of medieval horsemanship skills, is taking place on in the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm holiday region on the high plateau beneath the Sciliar/Schlern moun-tain. Riders compete in teams of four in events testing medieval riding skills including negotiating
